Hexa Energy Services is pleased to announce that its first project, the Tagawa BESS, will commence operations from the end of November 2025.
Furthermore, this project is the first grid-scale BESS to commence operation among those selected in the first round of the Long Term Decarbonization Auction (“LTDA”) introduced by the Japanese government’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (“METI”) in 2023.Tagawa BESS project has been under development since 2023 as the firm’s first BESS project in Japan.

For this project, Shirokuma Power was appointed as our development & EPC partner.
